Behind The Class Design
At Common Ground Training, our classes are built around one simple idea: balanced training creates long-term results. We believe the best fitness program is one that develops multiple areas of health and performance while remaining sustainable enough to follow for years. Rather than focusing on a single training style, we combine functional fitness, strength training, conditioning, and bodybuilding to help members build complete fitness.
Each week is intentionally structured to expose members to different training stimuli. Strength training helps build muscle, bone density, and resilience. Conditioning improves cardiovascular health, endurance, and work capacity. Functional fitness develops coordination, balance, power, and the ability to move efficiently in everyday life. Bodybuilding and accessory work help build muscle mass, improve joint health, address weaknesses, and support recovery.
Our programming follows structured progressions that allow members to make measurable improvements while avoiding the burnout and overuse that can come from doing the same thing every day. By balancing intensity, volume, and movement patterns throughout the week, we create a training experience that is both effective and sustainable.

LEGENDS is designed for adults who want to prioritize long-term health, strength, and independence. This class focuses on functional strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and cardiovascular fitness in a supportive and welcoming environment. LEGENDS helps members maintain the physical abilities needed for everyday life while building confidence, resilience, and overall well-being for years to come.
